- Download the purchased NorthStar APK only from the private link supplied by AeroGeo North.
- Compare the SHA-256 checksum of the downloaded APK with
SHA256SUMS.txtwhen possible. - Open the APK from the browser download notification or the device Downloads folder.
- Android may ask you to allow the browser or file manager to install unknown apps. Enable that permission only for the application you are using to open the NorthStar APK.
- Tap Install. For a later NorthStar update, install the newer APK over the existing application. Do not uninstall first unless directed by support, because uninstalling removes device-local application data.
- Open NorthStar, choose English or French, select Light or Dark mode and complete the guided tutorial.
- Immediately export an encrypted
.northstarbackup after creating or importing important project records.
NorthStar direct-download releases are for Android. Apple does not permit ordinary iPhone or iPad applications to be installed from a public website as an APK.

- Téléchargez l’APK NorthStar acheté uniquement à partir du lien privé fourni par AeroGeo North.
- Comparez, si possible, la somme SHA-256 de l’APK téléchargé avec
SHA256SUMS.txt. - Ouvrez l’APK depuis l’avis de téléchargement du navigateur ou le dossier Téléchargements.
- Android peut demander l’autorisation d’installer des applications inconnues. Accordez cette permission uniquement au navigateur ou au gestionnaire de fichiers utilisé pour ouvrir l’APK NorthStar.
- Appuyez sur Installer. Pour une mise à jour ultérieure, installez le nouvel APK par-dessus l’application existante. Ne désinstallez pas d’abord, sauf indication du soutien, car la désinstallation efface les données locales de l’application.
- Ouvrez NorthStar, choisissez l’anglais ou le français, sélectionnez le mode clair ou sombre et terminez le tutoriel.
- Exportez immédiatement une sauvegarde chiffrée
.northstaraprès avoir créé ou importé des dossiers importants.
Les versions téléchargées directement sont destinées à Android. Apple ne permet pas l’installation ordinaire d’applications iPhone ou iPad à partir d’un site Web sous forme d’APK.
